I think Positive Action in Housing has done a tremendous service to the people of Glasgow during last few years, specially for Asylum Seekers and for the Refugees in Scotland. Well done, Robina. keep it up!! I wish all the best towards the AGM 2007.

I would just like to send my good wishes and support for the 2007 AGM. The advice and practical help that your organisation provides is vital in bringing hope to many, many people in this country. I pray that PAIH never loses its zeal for doing what is right and just and I salute your commitment to helping those living in fear and distress. The work you do gives Scotland something to be proud of.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend PAIH’s agm on the 7th September as I shall be in Israel, the West Bank and Ghaza (Palestine). I believe that the work PAIH do is incredible. I extremely enjoyed the company of the staff during the sleep over at George Square and managed to sell my marshmellow sticks and get sponsors to raise funds for ‘destitute asylum seekers’, the most vunerable people in our society today. Thank you to PAIH for the constant support you give.

I would like to thank PAiH for all the succesful work they have done over the past year in a multiplicity of varying endeavours.
From a personal and organisational point of view I would also wish to express my gratitude for the contribution and help provided in developing Cadder HA’s Equal Opportunities & Diversity Stategy.
I would finally wish to comment on the success of our Nominations Agreement with PAiH. Not only have we had the benefit of providing accomodation to BME nominees but through the process we also managed to recruit a Management Committee member who has now been in post for one year.
I wish you continued success.

Once again congratulations to Robina and her staff-their enduring patience, encouragement and the righteous attitude that is rarely seen in diverse organisations is present in PAIH- if you really need to see authentic equality-not the phantom quangos but the real thing-where multiculturalism is not a myth but a foundation of truth and sincerity then look no further than ‘Positive Action in Housing’ where a human being is treated like a human being -given respect, honour and dignity to live as a ‘free’ individual-so well done to another fantastic year of challenging, opposing and choosing the right way -if they have critics-then they are doing the right thing-well done-strength and clarity-God bless-

I would like to send my best wishes and support to Robina and all the staff at Positive Action in Housing. Your continued commitment and enthusiasm has helped secure housing and support for some of the most vulnerable groups in Scotland today.
Over the years as an MSP, I have worked with an encouraging amount of innovative and engaging groups in my constituency and throughout Scotland. Few could rival the advice and practical help provided by your organisation.
The team at Positive Action in Housing are unique in their tireless efforts to secure good quality, affordable & safe homes for minority ethnic communities and campaigned on their behalf. Well done and good luck in the future.
